Synth City (2007)

Synth City is an architectural model underscored with electronic music and visuals. The viewer has the ability to interact with the selection, playback and spatialisation of audio-visual scenes mapped onto the surface of the model. The model is surrounded by a multi-channel speaker array that diffuses music in space. The transformations between sonic and visual properties allow a perceptual 'synthesis' to occur, redefining our relationship and challenging existing thoughts through the 'continuum' of the urbanised fabric of society.
